Even if this doesn’t leave you with enough money to pay a lawyer before acquittal (which Sila Luis may be able to do), doesn’t that just give your a lawyer that much of an incentive to win the case? Can’t a lawyer charge a higher rate to offset the risk of not collecting any money?
